Monday, March 12, 2007. One really fun thing about kids getting older is that they'll get out of the super-picky stage and start to try new things. Alex is knee deep in pickiness and Harrison is starting to be adventurous. He'll try almost anything and if he doesn't like it he'll gag, spit it out, and say, "It made me choke! Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Alex also enjoyed the ride in the lap of Daddy on his horse, Kansas. He saw several people being handed sticks to help move their horses along and he really wanted a "dick! Too I guess we need to work on the "st" sound. My horse was Lady. On the way back, we took a break on this bridge overlooking a really pretty stream. Harrison helped peddle "most" of the time. Daddy got quite a workout! Once Ian saw Alex take a turn on the tag-a-long, he HAD to ride the BBBIIIIIIKKKKKKEEEEE.

I was having a nice mother-son moment with Harrison in my lap telling me something that was I'm sure extremely important, when I noticed something foreign in his hair. As I pushed him to the floor and screamed, "LICE! No, just kidding. Not about the lice, but the reaction. Yes, we had to deal with head lice. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. So, we've been passing around the crud for weeks now. Harrison had pink-eye, then I had it three times (probably never got rid of it) and now Alex is fighting it. He's not a fan of the eyedrops, but I told him I have to put medicine in his eye because it's pink. He said, "No Mommy, I have blue eyes! Rub a Dub Dub.
