I Had an Idea This Morning. Getting a Fresh Perspective on Your Work. October 6, 2006. Before I sent an article to my editor yesterday, I took one final look-see for polishing purposes. But before that, I changed the font and type size. I always, always do this. Changing the type reliably reveals bad word choices, clumsy constructions, pacing problems, even misspellings. Personalities, and reading your piece in a different font is like. Colored lenses: interesting, perhaps, but not particularly revealing.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Recently we started growing grass in our front and back yards. We planted our first set of grass seed over the weekend of September 17th. The whole process took a lot of work but we are hoping to see great results! Since the beginning we've had to put more seed down from time to time because we have some pesky squirrels that like to dig up the seeds and straw! Here are some more pictures of all the grass growing in our front yard.hopefully it will keep growing in nicely!
