Today I was on a mission to place a poppy at the memorial to the crew of Wellington bomber R1465, crashed on Waen Rydd on the 6th of july 1942. The aircraft crashed in poor visibility on a cross country training run, the young Canadian crew were all killed and are buried in Hereford. The weather was awesome if you like windchill!
