Dave and Chelle: Birthdays, Hospital Visits, and Halloween
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2013/11/birthdays-hospital-visits-and-halloween.html
Monday, November 4, 2013. Birthdays, Hospital Visits, and Halloween. It has been an eventful October. I turned 30 at the beginning of the month. It was kind of a wretched start to the decade. Braden was only 10 days old at the time so I was still in recovery mode. I had also just spent the first of what became four nights at Primary Children's Medical Center because we had rushed Braden to the emergency room there (at the urging of our pediatrician). As always, I have to include the pumpkins. I do al...

Dave and Chelle: October 2012
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. I turned 29 recently. It was a lovely day. Patrick hard at work. I only realized after taking these pictures that Aubrey was destroying the flowers. Patrick was also destroying flowers. I don't think she could be cuter. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood. Sitting in some leaves. Lots of people take pictures like this here. I love this picture. Kudos to Dave. Patrick looking distinguished in his new glasses. We finally got that kite to fly after a summer of trying.

Dave and Chelle: August 2012
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 19, 2012. Everything Since the Last Time We Posted- Except for Patrick's Birthday (shrug). We- like the rest of the world- have been super busy this summer. We've gone hiking a fair amount, camping, fishing, eclipse viewing, and county fairing. Also, our kids went on their first plane rides (to Arizona) in May. Here are pictures of some of those things. Conversation (from today) with Aubrey:. Aubrey: Mom, you're mean. Aubrey: Oh, I was confused. I didn't realize you were very, very nice.

Dave and Chelle: January 2014
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 11, 2014. Can I just say I'm glad that the holiday season is over? I love Christmas and all that, but the havoc it wreaks on small children may not be worth it. We simplified the holidays this year by cutting out some of our traditions involving going out for an evening, but somehow we were still incredibly busy. Here are a whole bunch of pictures. I think they're in chronological order. :). Patrick narrating a book. He loves books more than any other thing right now. Aubrey up and deci...

Dave and Chelle: March 2013
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. We celebrated Aubrey's and Dave's birthdays this month and, of course, Easter. With the birthdays, holiday, and a week of sick and feverish kids (and counting) we've been rendered completely useless. We'll start with Aubrey's birthday. We played the Grandma Sorensen classic: Don't Eat Pete. It's a different gameboard than from when I was a kid though. Aubrey got some great books for her birthday- it's nice. To have new things to read! To get it just right. Glad it turned out.

Dave and Chelle: October 2013
http://dckenison.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 3, 2013. I think it's just the universe thwarting my every move, but Braden turned out to be tiny. We told everyone not to get him newborn-sized anything because our babies are always too big to wear them. So, of course he ends up being my tiniest baby by at least 1 1/2 pounds. Dave and Braden at the hospital. Aubrey was completely on board though. I don't think she really remembers Patrick being born, but she knew what we were getting into. He's so funny and little. What a bum. Since w...
