I watched a documentary on how the brain works, demonstrating how different parts of the brain use concentration and focus. It showed scientifically that what you focus on, what you are instructed to focus on, what you choose to focus on, is all you can experience. A huge costumed penguin walked across the stage in front of an audience of over a hundred people. Not one of them noticed it.
