Mysteries, Romance, Youth, and More. Photo courtesy of Dawn Biery Photography. Mary Sutton has been making up stories, and creating her own endings for other people’s stories, for as long as she can remember. After ten years, she decided that making things up was far more satisfying than writing software manuals, and took the jump into fiction. 8220;A fast moving plot and action packed adventure make for a fun read. I will recommend this to my middle school students! Scene from Hero's Sword.

http://dorisdumrauf.blogspot.com/2011/12/looking-back-on-2011.html
Writing, Photography and Life. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Looking Back on 2011. As 2011 is drawing to a close I can report that it has been a successful year. We escaped our snowy winter weather for a long weekend trip to Florida's Everglades, where I took a bird photo workshop with Arthur Morris. Fall was especially eventful. I participated in my Toastmasters Humorous Speech contest and advanced all the way to the district level, where I placed third. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a writer, ...

Writing, Photography and Life. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Friendships That Pass the Test of Time. After enjoying several reunions with my friends from school days I am thrilled that the bonds I formed in childhood can and do last a lifetime. And what better way to reconnect than sharing some cake while perusing old photos and discussing our favorite - and least favorite - teachers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Writing, Photography & Life: September 2011
http://dorisdumrauf.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Writing, Photography and Life. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Since I am writing an article about the Wings over Pittsburgh air show, we headed to the show on Sunday. It was, of course, the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks of 9/11. When we arrived at the base, we were surprised to see Air Force One fly by us. The nose art is another art work by Donna Pitaro, a Moon artist who I featured in the January/February 2008 issue of. That was the President returning from Shanksville.".

We Love It, Don't We? Monday, February 15, 2010. We like to dabble in hillbilly. Not go all out Summer teeth and barefoot in the gas station bathroom, but we appreciate a homemade moonshine and the like. Gah, look at all that green grass! Where are you green grass? The bonus to the whole thing was when Mark a...

The Blotter: Halloween Beer Pairings
http://joycetremel.blogspot.com/2014/10/halloween-beer-pairings.html
Where I sometimes post about writing. Or nothing of importance. Take your pick. Brewing Trouble Mystery Series. In Spite of . Mysteries. Monday, October 20, 2014. Pennies, Pints, Pittsburgh posted an article on what craft beers to pair with the Halloween candy you liberate from your kids' bags. Some are good, and some are a little crazy, like a sour beer with Sour Patch Kids, but then I think just eating Sour Patch Kids is a little nutso. Ick. It's to die for! Anyway, here's the link to the article.
