With loads of stuff. going to Nana's home town to celebrate the end of Ramadan, writing my dissertation, working of course, and as we are preparing for a new start, we are doing loads of things, including meetings on saturdays as we are just too busy during the week. Het is mudik, aan het einde van de ramadan vertrekt iedereen naar zijn/haar geboorte plaats of ouderlijk huis om Idul Fitri (suikerfeest) te vieren. Ik ga met Nana naar Cirebon. Dus iedere keer als ik ze op mijn computer download, word ik er weer even aan herinnerd …. Misschien leuk om te delen met alle familie en vrienden…Maar aangezien tegenwoordig iedere kleuter al een eigen website heeft, weet ik eigenlijk ook. Ik ben helemaal kapot van de lange reis, ik vertrok zaterdag ochtend 9 am Indo tijd, en kom zondag middernacht Indo tijd aan. PLus de jet-lag, want het tijdsverschil is maar liefst 8 uur met Indonesia. Gelukkig heb ik 2 dagen de tijd om bij te komen, voordat ik hard aan de slag moet met allerlei financiele regelingen. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Eindelijk een teken van leven. in de Similan Islands, Thailand! Even een weekje er tussenuit om te gaan duiken met Wicke. In de Similan Islands. Het leven aan boord van zo'n duik boot is erg simpel. je eet, duikt, rust, eet, duikt nog eens een keertje en dan moet je natuurlijk weer eten en rusten. HEERLIJK! Prachtige dingen weer gezien en, zoals je in de eerste foto kunt zien, ook van errug dichtbij! Manta's, haaien, octopus, slangen en natuurlijk miljoenen mooie gekleurde visjes.
