Tuesday, August 11, 2009. This little guy is a Marsh Rabbit ( Sylvilagus palustris. They're related to the cottontails, but their ears are shorter and they are a handsome reddish brown color. They're also strong swimmers! They've even been known to hide from danger in the water, with only their eyes and nose poking up. Grace Notes: Turtle eggs
http://anngrayce.blogspot.com/2009/08/this-turtle-crawled-all-way-from-pond.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. This turtle crawled all the way from the pond behind the house to lay her eggs in the front lawn. Unfortunately, crows love turtle eggs. Or, fortunately, for the baby crows. Grace Notes: Sunbather
http://anngrayce.blogspot.com/2009/08/came-across-this-sunbathing-mermaid-on.html
Sunday, August 2, 2009. Came across this sunbathing mermaid on the beach. Her beautiful, wild hair is made of seaweed. Have to wonder what her story is. Is she a mermaid turned to sand, or a woman turned to mermaid, just waiting for the tide to wash her into the Gulf of Mexico? I love her wild hair. Very mysterious! August 3, 2009 at 11:07 AM. E una cosa misteriosa.come la vita propria. August 3, 2009 at 1:07 PM. Mysterious indeed, Mike! August 3, 2009 at 3:17 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
