second cup of coffee....: Illustration for The Illness
http://anniefix.blogspot.com/2011/01/illustration-for-illness.html
Second cup of coffee. Monday, January 31, 2011. Illustration for The Illness. Here is an image I did for a poster for my buddy Josh's band The Illness. The background is comprised of pieces of fabric that I cut and sewed together, and then stretched onto stretcher bars to make a canvas. I then used Sculpy clay to make the baby doll (using glass doll eyes and false eyelashes). I painted the doll with acrylic paint, and then sewed it onto the canvas with embroidery thread. This piece is triple bad-ass!

second cup of coffee....: Baby Dragon
http://anniefix.blogspot.com/2007/11/baby-dragon.html
Second cup of coffee. Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Yes, it's been forever since I've posted, but it's not for lack of creating stuff ;). I've been doing quite a bit of designing/sewing these past months. I made this baby dragon costume for my 8-month old for halloween. I first sketched it out, and then re-drew it in illustrator for accuracy of proportions/sizing. That's the best Baby Dragon costume ever! And that baby is darn cute too. You should post more of the things you've made. That is so superb!

second cup of coffee....: Ogre
http://anniefix.blogspot.com/2006/09/ogre.html
Second cup of coffee. Monday, September 18, 2006. This here Ogre is ready for battle. Fully equipped with a state of the art shoulder catapult, complete with an Imp to help with reloading, he's ready to go! I'd hire these guys to kill my enemies for sure. And maybe even to babysit the kids, they look like sticklers for disipline, and good manners. Nice work Fix! That is one mean looking guy! Very well done I said. I like the catapult design.I'm just wondrin' if it's gonna hit his head when it unloads!

http://anniefix.blogspot.com/2007/04/birth-announcement.html
Second cup of coffee. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Here is a little birth announcement I drew and painted for my new sweet baby. Omg I love it! I hope it is hanging in a place of honor on your wall. Beautiful. Good to hear from you. How's it going with Dax? The family portrait is teriffic. Reminds me of the opening credits to Family ties, except yours is executed in style. Please keep in touch and let me know if you're ever in LA. Of course you can call him "triple x"! Yep, it IS my favorite family.

Second cup of coffee. Thursday, January 25, 2007. This piece was inspired by my 5 year-old step son.just a little peek inside the imagination of a child. I like it where a little guy is walking the plank! Nice painting. I wish I were a kid again. Everything seemed so much easier then, didn't it? This painting reminds me of better times. Nice job. Beautiful painting. You did it! I love this lil' number! Very cool, Bimp. The only things you forgot were some Sea Wee Dolls! This is beautiful and magical!
