Sunday, 22 February 2015. Blog 1 Land of Ice and Fire. Thursday 5 February 2015. Arrived at Keflavik airport (Ice,and) and are now ensconced in a small guesthouse overlooking Hallgrimskirkja church, a huge modern structure right in the centre of town. Spent the afternoon wandering around and will do so again tomorrow before picking up the 4x4 and setting off for our trip around the entire island. Probably should just to add it to my collection of "weird museums we have visited around the world . ".

Sunday, 22 February 2015. Blog 2 - First day on the road-Geysers and Waterfalls-and SNOW. Picked up the car and swiftly left Reykjavik heading Southwest and into the snow. Very bleak landscape, all our photos are black and white but it is beautiful in its own way! Visited the Pingvellir National Park, saw the Keno volcanic crater, then drove in sto the Geysir geothermal area where we stopped for a while and wandered amongst the geysers! Some random photos . Saturday, 16 May 2015. European Tour - Blog 1 Across Holland and Germany in db quick time. Off the ferry from Harwich and drove straight across The Netherlands into Germany, having decided to just keep driving through until we get to South Moravia in the Czech Republic, our furthest destination on this trip. We can then spend time slowly wending our way back to the Hook if Holland and home again on the 15 June. Gotta go and hook up, more to follow with some pics. Posted by Annie H.
