Adventures & lessons learned from life & missions: June 2009
http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. You can't just smile and nod with faith questions :-P. I'll write again soon and talk a little more about what I've actually been up to! This was a picture I took of a girl climbing the fence by the Caballito Church Building's courtyard. People roam pretty freely around here. Just thought I'd share. Saturday, June 27, 2009. The Journey Begins: Gourmet Europe, Eva Peron and the Hearts of a Nation. I made it to Buenos Aires!
Adventures & lessons learned from life & missions: Latrines and Libraries
http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2010/07/latrines-and-libraries.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. When I first heard of the work going on here with Team Arequipa and their Christian Institute for Urban Development (in Spanish: ICDU), I thought the libraries and latrine projects were an interesting idea and simply wondered 'why? The team informed me that a survey trip indicated a strong need for literacy, and that the Naranjal community presented their needs to include clean water and sanitation. H. Ore than just a mental...

Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Reoppening the Reading Room. Things are going well here and I am super-excited to continue learning about the Peruvian culture and about missions amongst these people, proudly descended from Incan tribes and living in the shadows of ancient volcanoes. Grace, Peace, and loads of Love to you, my partners in the Gospel and my support in life and ministry. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Adventures & lessons learned from life & missions: Weekend in Naranjal
http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2010/07/weekend-in-naranjal.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Friday, July 9, 2010. 8221; I find a slight irony and a thorough appreciation that Manuela, who is very close to committing her life to following Jesus, so encouraged David and I, who are already living in the reality of such a commitment. Manuela is already living in fellowship with our God, who indeed works in the lives of those not yet committed to Him long before such commitments are ever made. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Adventures & lessons learned from life & missions: August 2009
http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Sunday, August 16, 2009. Final Reflections Part 2 of 2. In Argentina, I was thoroughly surrounded by non-Christians, and was immersed in a culture that was hesitant if not opposed to Kingdom life. However, in my time there, I was in relationship with many unsaved peoples. I like it! I'm waiting to see how God opens this door to ministry. Feel free to join me in prayer about this! The school year starts any day now and a whole new mission will begin&#...

http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2010/06/meet-flintstones.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. I would first like to say ‘thank you’ to Tom Torpy for the encouraging me through your let. Ter in the Jericho bulletin. We still try and keep up on what is going on back home, even though it's been a little while since we've been able to return. I whole-heartedly concur that Carolina. Bible Camp has had a tremendous e. Ffect on my growth and development (as I sit in Peru. Wearing my CBC 2007 Week 1 t-shirt). S and gets by.
Adventures & lessons learned from life & missions: July 2009
http://thewalktoemmaus.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Adventures and lessons learned from life and missions. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Zarate, Elisha, Frustrations and Joys. Greetings Friends and Family. Things have been generally great, though not without frustration. I'll elaborate on that following an update on the Zarate trip and my time with Elisha. After a 2hr bus ride, I found myself thoroughly outside of the city. It was very tranquil and I was met by the smiling Roberto Magalu (my name-twin). Thank you all for your prayers regarding my trip and the ...

Buenos Aires and Santiago with Let's Start Talking. Monday, July 27, 2009. I’ve definitely learned to cook a lot better. Being on my own and making do with what few ingredients we have had has really helped me step up my game in the kitchen. Even Katie and Jenn have improved and learned a little :). What makes it so difficult to follow His rules? Why do I stumble as a Christian? As a young woman? Why do I try to add my own words or variations to his perfect words? God is good. . De Que Me Sirve la Vida
De Que Me Sirve la Vida. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Redirection - Big News. God has a way of redirecting our lives, and sometimes its when we least expect it. So it is with a heavy heart I tell you all I am finishing up my time here in Honduras at the end of the year. I will be heading back to the states around December 15th. I have no idea what is next, but I have faith in God's plan and where He is leading me. I find peace in knowing God is in this place and constantly working on their hearts.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Ban on Islamic Veil. French Interior Minister moved to defend the controversial state ban on full-face veils after yet another fight sparked riots outside Paris, which he said now has "contained". The weekend violence erupted on the outskirts of Trappes after a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer who had stopped her on it veils - a practice that is banned in France, outraging many in the Muslim community. There are also some cases, though rarely, people taki...

Serving Him
Sunday, October 11, 2009. So it's been a while. I was unaware anyone actually read this until someone reminded me that I hadn't written in a while. I have been back in the U.S.A since December 18th 2008. Since then a lot of things have happened and my life is so very different! I like to blog with pictures because it's more fun, so until I compile some recent one's I won't expand. I'm still serving God here in Lubbock, TX just in different ways.
