I had seen JJ in Romantictimes Book Club advertisements and reviews as well around Yahoo groups where I belong. I entered a contest she had going and won! Here’s JJ’s website. Check it out. I won a copy of ROCKS AND HARD PLACES. When I read it I’ll post a critique. Posted by Melany at 3:59 PM. I like a male ches...

Rebecca's Lair: January 2015
http://rebeccaslair.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Well, hey again! Alright, so I've been kind of busy, but should have stopped back here before now. I'm preparing one manuscript for submission and trying to finish another. The Bears is the manuscript I'm trying to finish. I'd hoped to finish it before the end of the year, but a nasty little bug and some getting over that bad cold, but can't focus blahs sidelined that idea. Below is my latest favorite quote! Friday, January 16, 2015. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Gift for Adam. Cheyen...

My thoughts on editing. I just finished a round of edits and will probably get another round soon. So the subject is on my mind. This is my take on edits and the process of editing. Other writers experiences may be different. You've written your story. Polished it to the best of your ability. Either had the story accepted or have gotten an editor for your story. Edits should not be one big cheer session. Yes, it's great to get the occasional-This is great! Or I like this! Editing changes. Most change...

The best in SIN LIT from 9 red hot Bay Area writers! Friday, September 30, 2005. Searching for and finding. Your Muse. Okay, so what's the magic formula for finding your muse? So to distract myself from the dilemma, I promptly get lost in the internet; e-mails, marketing, websites, and a whole bunch of lame excuses to do anything but- write. So what's the magic formula? I begin the search. Okay, finally last night I figured it out, I found my muse. How did I do it you ask? Then you know what happens?

RedHotRomance: Sgt. Pepper and All That
http://redhotromance.blogspot.com/2006/11/sgt-pepper-and-all-that.html
The best in SIN LIT from 9 red hot Bay Area writers! Sunday, November 12, 2006. Sgt Pepper and All That. So what if I I could weep looking at the pictures of the young John and George - and Paul and Ringo. The songs are as fresh and energetic - I have to sing along and get up and move - as they were then. Maybe more. A flood of memories, 20-20 hindsight, and all that. Surely it all was as I remember it, right? Posted by Mardi Ballou : 10:28 PM. The power of music is so amazing, isn't it Mardi?

RedHotRomance: What makes a hero unforgettable?
http://redhotromance.blogspot.com/2006/12/what-makes-hero-unforgettable.html
The best in SIN LIT from 9 red hot Bay Area writers! Sunday, December 10, 2006. What makes a hero unforgettable? I was walking the dog this morning, which is something I do every day. It gives me time to think about the work in progress and what I'll write on any particular day. Today I got sidetracked (not unusual) and started thinking about heroes in romance- what makes them not only hot and yummy, but unforgetable? What makes you, as a reader, sigh and wish the hero had his shoes parked under your bed?
