Als ik zo kijk naar het patroon van vormen dat in het storyboard zo mooi aangeeft dat alle vissen als robots schijnbaar willoos in het gelid zwemmen, wilde ik eens proberen om de beweging van de vissen synchroon te laten plaatsvinden. Hoe meer gestructureerd de vissen zwemmen des te mooier is de individuele keuze van Ano als hij ervoor kiest tegen de draad in te zwemmen. Wim Goossens and Maarten Melis. Wim is bij me langs geweest vanavond, hij was toch in de buurt dus we hebben maar afgesproken, goed gesprek, lekker eten en een fles wijn na. Natuurlijk hebben we het ook over onze animatie gehad. Wim wilde zijn tanden eens in wat anders zetten dan lichtvlekjes op Ano. Dus we hebben afgesproken dat we aan een andere scene uit het storyboard gaan werken. De scene waarin Ano zich een weg baant door de stroom van vissen.

Het leek mij prachtig als er daar een soort magic plaats zou vinden. Noorderlicht, Aurora Borealis, zoiets had ik in gedachte. Dit experiment wordt vervolgd. Een animatie van Wim Goossens and Maarten Melis. Donderdag 10 juni 2010. Vissen en nog eens vissen. Omdat Wim ook enthousiast is over de laaste oogjes kunnen we SQ9.1 gaan aanpakken. Omdat het licht van boven komt heb ik en mooi strijk-lichtje op de diagonale vissen geplaatst. Het lijkt mij goed om de vorm en beweging die de doorgang tussen de twee werelden aangeeft erg magisch te maken. Het is nog niet af maar ik begin hier een steeds beter gevoel over te krijgen. Maarten had een mooie school gebouwd in Flash die ik wilde vermenigvuldigen om er meer "vis' van te maken. Ook wilde ik zien of ik er een atmosferisch geheel van zou kunnen maken.
