the transit museum or: a rollerskating queen | An Open Letter to NYC
https://anopenlettertonyc.wordpress.com/2008/09/08/the-transit-museum-or-a-rollerskating-queen
An Open Letter to NYC. The transit museum or: a rollerskating queen. Wen-Jay drives the magic bus. Wen-Jay and I made a visit to the wonderful New York Transit Museum. Luckily, we dicked around all day and showed up thirty minutes before closing so the guards waived our fee and told us to hurry so we could see the whole museum. They were right. I wish I had more time. A very cool museum. I especially enjoyed the history about the construction of the subways. Glam on the trains. The glammest of them all.
pointless | An Open Letter to NYC
https://anopenlettertonyc.wordpress.com/2008/09/22/pointless
An Open Letter to NYC. F or that matter, the ocean of humanity scarcely qualifies as a drop in grand scheme of space and time. I visited the Natural History Museum on the depressing day when I left my bike messenger work. I find this quite liberating. It only makes the joke of existence funnier. I find myself chuckling darkly quite often lately. Response to “pointless”. Feed for this Entry. September 22, 2008 at 9:33 pm. Jay Sherman: “Well, Camus can do, but Sartre is smartra! free food | An Open Letter to NYC
https://anopenlettertonyc.wordpress.com/2008/08/28/free-food
An Open Letter to NYC. Nothing makes me happier than free food and in NYC, it’s just too easy to find:. Lunch yesterday: beat a girl in a chess game, we bet lunch on the match, she let me keep the massive leftovers from a great Korean place in K-Town. Dinner yesterday: invited to some food writer’s birthday party on a beach in Queens with a magnificent view of Manhattan, lots of free food and drinks, ended up in a poker game and lost ten bucks (as always). Lunch today: Fish sticks with a kid I babysit.

While I knew I would miss India like crazy – and I was right – I experienced so much that I knew I needed to leave to let it all soak in. I picked up Turtle Feet. Included a line about demystifying monks’ lives. Perfect food for thought. Back in Montreal,.

In the last several days, it has been reported that Tibetans in Ngaba County, Amdo (Chinese province of Sichuan), have posted the following message in their towns:. To the Tibetans of the three provinces, monks, nuns, lay men and women,. Let us unite our strength, and let us not surrender to this evasive system of repression.

Today is Amnesty International's Day of Protest against internet censorship in China. If I managed to program the code properly, you should have seen censorship on this page when you first accessed it. So am I incriminating myself by blogging? They are strangers with whom we must coexist, whose bizarre habits and foibles we must cope with and who must cope with ours in return. I came home late one night and it was just gone. I told myself that there had to be a rational explanation. I searched the trashcans, thinking it might have fallen in the to...

A collection of experiences, thoughts, opinions, and writings. Monday, August 18, 2008. Tsering’s speech reminded us all of how important it is to take action at this historical moment as China continues to brutally oppress Tibetans, even as the Olympic Games are going on. Maude spoke of her experience as part of a protest in Beijing on August 10th. Kelsang Palden delivered a great speech, which moved francophones in the group to tears. Sunday, December 20, 2009. Dressed the way you are at 5 in the afternoon is pretty appauling. Are you going to work at showgirls? Or have you finished work? Do you think you are fashionable? How many blow jobs did you do today? Did you reach your quota? Are you full, or are you still hungry? These are the questions flowing through my curious brain right now. Urgh I can't stop looking at your back fat! Shit just got blogged. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Dear over powering lynx guy. Shit just got blogged.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. This is a poem that I wrote for an assignment in my improvisation class, But I thought that some people might appreciate the opportunity to read it. :). A lonely road it sometimes seems. This journey we call life. With it's splits, it's twists, and unexpected turns. At times it's easy to feel strife. Yet through all my troubles. And my darkest of despairs,. I've found there is a light inside. Which aids in my repair. I've had the insight all along. But burried it deep inside.
