Success Stories An Organized State. There was a limited amount of counter space. The counter and stovetop were a dumping place for people walking through the kitchen. Too many cooking utensils were stored on the countertop. We moved the small table into the kitchen; that became the depository for entering and leaving. We rearranged inside the cabinets so there would be more storage to put things away. We rearranged the counter-top appliances to make more prep space. The counter was covered with items.
