Blank Bowl/Gleefully Super | Another Hundred People
https://anotherhundredpeople.wordpress.com/2012/01/25/blank-bowlgleefully-super
My New York Adventure. So last time the Pats made it to the Super Bowl, I wrote a piece of fan fiction for the occasion called Blank Bowl, written in the style of the show. I have written a second piece, very much like the first, for this rematch coming up. It’s called. So I think you can guess what it is modeled after (don’t worry, you don’t have to like the show to like this story, I promise). Blank Bowl XLII Part One. The following is a fictional episode of one of my favorite shows,. What does it do?

My New York Adventure. 2011: The Year That Was. Only a few hours left in 2011 so it is a good time to reflect on this crazy year. It was a year of ups and downs, really amazing times and truly difficult times. My first full calendar year in New York City! So here are the highlights, not many of the lowlights and the things that truly stand out:. Alyssa and Jason got married! It was a really lovely day, I’m so honored that I got to be a little part of it. Killed my first cockroach. Saw a lot of shows:.

How hard would it have been for him to navigate the treacherous waters of Chicago Democratic politics with such enormous baggage as that? Why I don’t go to tea parties. August 9, 2010 at 8:40 pm · Filed under Politics. Adding insult to injury, which is not easy to do in this case, the Tea Party’s mantra about the sanctity of the family is also now subject to change, if the family happens to be the immigrant parents of a baby born here. Shall the baby be separated from the parents, he staying and the parents leaving? Just ship them all back? 2 Comments ». August 12, 2010 @ 1:39 pm. August 14, 2010 @ 5:40 pm. Same racist pitch, different ethnic batters. August 16, 2010 at 11:27 pm · Filed under Politics. It was the Jews first, in Europe; you know, the Christ-killers. They did work no respectable person would do, banking, finance, and the rest. Then they were blamed for being money-hungry international conspirators. Now the mainstream (read: white, Anglo-Saxon Protestants) is running a two-fer: Hispanics from our southern borders and Arabs from across the pond. They have become Co-Scapegoats of the Decade.

Archive for June, 2010. These are the good old days. June 22, 2010 at 3:01 pm · Filed under Politics. The boomer generation, of which I am a member, has joined whoever is remaining of its predecessors in bemoaning the current state of affairs in the world/country/city/neighborhood/church (pick one). They want to go back to another time when things were better. They want the good old days. Was there ever a time when our country was as divided as it is now? Is the world really a more dangerous place now?

A Baptist pastor drinks a beer. August 6, 2010 at 10:44 pm · Filed under Religion. Today I drank a beer, the first time I have done so in thirteen years. As a Southern Baptist pastor, I have abstained from alcohol (I think I drank a bottle of wine over a three-month period back in 2008) as prescribed by our tenants of faith. But today I drank a beer. Who messed with my friend’s head this way? But today it is I who drank a bottle of beer, because my friend no longer can. 2 Comments ». This, and so many of...

What Harry the kitten can teach Dez Bryant. July 27, 2010 at 10:19 pm · Filed under Society/Culture. Steven Slater: flighty, but no hero. August 11, 2010 at 1:06 pm · Filed under Society/Culture. Consider what would have happened if one or several of his passengers had followed him out that emergency chute, with no attendant there at the top to instruct them in how to use it. Consider the lesson taught that it is okay to steal company property as you do your swan song out the door. Consider if a police officer, while handcuffing your assailant, reacted to your screams by letting the perpetrator go free,...

My New York Adventure. Sizeism During a Heat Wave. Bull;07/01/2012 • Leave a Comment. Question for you – don’t think about it, just answer the first thing that pops in your head: do you judge heavier women that wear sleevelees tops? I just read an article online about how women should feel confident enough to wear whatever they want, especially in summer when it’s hotter than hell out. I 100% agreed with the article but then I made the mistake of reading the comments section and you know what? I get regu...

Another Hungry Asian Girl
Another Hungry Asian Girl. Wo)man shall not live by bread alone. May 10, 2011. In any case, here are a couple of low-carb options that have become my new (sort of) BFFs that are hopefully amusing, if not helpful, for other delusional individuals out there looking to maybe do the same thing. Eggs, though I will admit to having eaten more yolks than I should. I do love a good egg’s Benedict, even without the English muffin. Meat has increased. I’ll have that steak as rare as possible, please. April 18, 2011.
Another Hungry Boy
Eating food in Melbourne, Australia. Tri-tip with cherry glaze. I’m a big fan of trip-tip, so is my family, so we have it regularly and I sometimes look for a different way to prepare it, aside from just seasoning it with SPG. Here’s some pictures of a cook recently …. As I was planning on smoking the trip-tip I decided to put the cherry sauce to good use by using it as a glaze after smoking and an indirect sear for additional flavour, and of course some on the plate! Another Hungry Month
December 1, 2008. Why hello there, it’s the last day of this project. Obviously we need to wrap this up with morals, just like a cheesy American cartoon (Captain Planet, etc.). The obvious gets even more obviouser: it’s easier to save when you go by a shopping list, instead of the usual on-the-fly decisionmaking. 30 a month is certainly doable, if a little boring. I could’ve made it interesting, but I’m just not that creative. And today’s adventures in food? November 30, 2008. November 26, 2008. Rice, fr...
