Verse 2 – “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning it’s shame, and sat down at the right hand of God.”. This chapter is full of great verses but this one stands out to me today. Lord, please forgive me for letting my eyes wander from Your face. Help me to focus on You and not so much on the goings on around me. I praise You that You.

He fulfilled all the requirements of the law and most importantly did what the law could not do. By his death and resurrection, He made us perfect in Him -so that through Him we can approach God with confidence and assurance. Hallelujah! And that should make us want to love Him more and to be quick to ask His forgiveness when we sin.

Thursday, July 30, 2009. Today I have submitted my last assignment. I can honestly say that I do feel so good about being done. In my first two years of teaching, I lost both of my parents unexpectedly. My brother in law was terminal, had a double transplant and is still with us, but not well. Yet Another Law Blog. The last thing this world needs is another law blog. So here you go. Saturday, March 10, 2007. I just got out of the MPRE. It was pretty terrible. For 3 years of law school I've been taught to think in shades of grey. Now this test wants me (and my #2 pencil) to go black and white in perhaps the greyest area of them all- legal ethics! Really, if you want me to pick just one answer, don't give me two options that are equally defensible and then make me guess what you were thinking.

Another law school rapper. Sunday, June 9, 2013. The 10 minutes of bliss after the Bees/Wasps disappear and before the mosquitos come out. Bananas go from not ready to perfect to gross so fast. Stretching to ease tight/sore muscles and then become sore from stretching. Relaxing on Sunday and then that twinge of stress I feel when the sun starts to set.
