July 22, 2015. July 22, 2015. Here I am in the middle of a bad place and what have I done? I’ve registered to play hockey in the fall! What was I thinking? I’ve played before as both a teen and as an adult but I quit for pregnancy and my absence has been more than 7 years in length. D pushed me to join and I agreed because I thought it would bring back something I used to love but I’m not sure I was thinking of the reality of a 7 year break when I paid the $300 to join. 800 for new Hockey equipment.

My case manager’s eyes widened when I mentioned the use of a chain saw and she emphasized over and over that they’re super dangerous. August 5, 2015. I’m struggling with acceptance. My Case Manager will often bring up Radical Acceptance and I fight it. Today my psychiatrist told me that my “OCD” thoughts won’t go away. I won’t be cured of OCD. Instead, treatment is aimed at managing my reaction to those thoughts. I’m a mess. I’m such a mess and I can’t see past it. The old me is gone and I’m left with a person I do not recognize. I want to be normal. I want to know what life feels like without a mental. One thought on “ Acceptance.
