Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The Pregnancy Chronicles: Week 16. Oops, I'm a few days late with this post, but life was crazy. How big is the baby? Great for the most part. I get extremely dehydrated in the middle of the night even if I drink a bunch of water in the late evening, so that is not overly pleasant. Thursday, October 21, 2010. I have always felt that if one saw a list of my hobbies, they could assume that I am elderly. Now, with arthritis, I apparently have the health problems to go along with this :) I also had shingles when I was in grad school. How many in the under 30's age group can boast such a medical history? I must've misheard. Nope. That's right folks, there is a shot made from rooster comb - the weird thing on top of the head - and it is currently in my knee. Wowza. Links to this post.

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. David is a painter :). I am glad to report that David does not accept defeat in this way. His computer nerdiness prevailed. I'm not sure how he does it, but he periodically calls me in to the study to teach me all of the tricks and show off the coolness of our new and improved pictures. Just the other day, he became a painter:. This was formerly a picture we took while hiking at Monte Sano. Now it is a digital painting. Michelangelo would blush :). Links to this post.

Sunday, March 11, 2012. The Pregnancy Chronicles: Week 18. How big is the baby? Head to rump length is about the size of a bell pepper, 5 1/2 inches. Weight is about 7 ounces. Everything in sight except Italian and Mexican. Lots of peanut butter, fruits and veggies, and drinking a lot of ice water. Also, I still crave Dr. Pepper every couple of days. While sitting on the couch this week, David asked me if I was 15 weeks pregnant. Hmmm, I guess he feels like time is standing still. Thanks for the updates!

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Laptop retirement, madness, and an iPhone anniversary. My car had to go to the shop today. The brakes were making a funny sound, but it turns out there was nothing wrong. This gave hubby and I occasion to commute to and from work together. I'm pretty sure we've never done this before and it was a lovely experience, however fleeting. Monday, March 12, 2012. I love country concerts. Jason Aldean made my year by coming to town and bringing his friends, Lauren Alaina and Luke Bryan. Lauren Alaina opened with a few songs. She also reappeared later in the night to sing the Kelly Clarkson part of Don't You Wanna Stay. She sounds really good live. The very beginning of the show. I didn't want to carry my huge SLR camera around all night, and I can't believe what an awesome picture I got with my iPhone! Most of the others were very blurry.
