De beginselen van het beeldhouwen in steen heb ik in 1994 tijdens een 10-daagse zomercursus in Frankrijk geleerd. Vanaf het maken van een ontwerp in klei, daarna er een geschikte steen bij zoeken en tenslotte het ontwerp uit die steen halen. Na dit eerste beeld in franse kalksteen zijn er nog vele gemaakt in o.a. graniet, marmer, serpentijn en vooral de laatste tijd vele kleuren albast. Werken op het atelier van Esther Velzeboer geeft mij de inspiratie en hulp voor het verkennen van nieuwe vormen.

Introducing Isabel Claire Ansberry! Mom and baby are doing well. We have not yet been able to get her to eat, but they say that is not too uncommon. Also, wanted to say "thanks" to everyone for all the help over the past several weeks. Karen and I are blessed. Well, on with the statistics. Weight: 6 lbs. 2 ounces. Height 18.5 inches. After a rough birthday, Izzy decide to take in some sun by the pool to correct her jaundice. She should be ready for her Caribbean cruise in no time.
