Where to see us. We are a women’s morris side dancing in the North West tradition. This type of dancing originated in Lancashire and Cheshire and is performed in clogs. We have our own band with both men and women. During the summer months we dance at pubs, festivals and traditional events. When we are not out performing we meet at Glenfield Memorial Hall, Leicester on most Tuesday evenings.

Where to see us. Here are some of the members who make up ARC. These are the dancers:. Has danced with the side for over 25 years and is currently our joint squire. Is our other joint squire. She teaches, runs a Duke of Edinburgh gold award scheme, has mountain rescue skills and makes wonderful cakes. We use this last skill extensively. Is our treasurer. She has an amazing sense of balance both when dancing, maintaining home/work/ dance balance and of course balancing the books. Came to a workshop in 201...

Where to see us. 2014 marked 30 years of dancing for us. To celebrate this we held a Day of Dance on July 19th at the Bosworth Battlefield Centre, The Battlefield Line. And The Dog and Hedgehog at Dadlington. We were joined by these morris sides:. Way of the Wyrd. And a great time was had by all. On Tuesday 15th July we were on Radio Leicester. On the day itself, 19th July, Julie Mayer from Radio Leicester joined us for a live broadcast. Here is a link to a shortish video of the day:.
