SubGlacial Lake Whillans - Antarctica. Domenica 3 febbraio 2013. Eccomi di nuovo a McMurdo e chissà perché tutti dicono " back in town". Anche se McMurdo non ha proprio niente della città. Sembra piuttosto una base militare tipo MASH, per chi se lo ricorda! Siamo rientrati ieri dal campo e oggi stiamo già preparando materiali e campioni per la spedizione ai vari laboratori. Devo anche sbrigare qualcosa come 947 e-mail. Pagherò a caro prezzo questa esperienza fantastica. La mia tenda, il primo giorno.
