BloggersOnTheRun: Undercover St Trinians Agents-Provocateurs
http://bloggersontherun.blogspot.com/2011/01/undercover-st-trinians-agents.html
Sunday, 23 January 2011. Undercover St Trinians Agents-Provocateurs. The former SDS officer, who has now left the Met, said one stipulation by senior commanders was that undercover officers should be married, so that they had something to return to. He said the move was introduced when a spy never returned after five years undercover. We have seen many times that the incompetence of our boys in blue has allowed the 'terrorists' free rein in our green and pleasant land. This one takes the biscuit. I am ju...

BloggersOnTheRun: Vacuum Tubes for Palestine
http://bloggersontherun.blogspot.com/2010/01/vacuum-tubes-for-palestine.html
Sunday, 31 January 2010. Vacuum Tubes for Palestine. I wanted a siren for my bike. Had read the DC comics adverts. I was more interested in the technology that would allow my bike to sound like an 'Ambliance' as Neil called it. We went to the shop. My father paid 27/9d - a lot of money in those days. The girl took the order and the money. She placed it in a capsule and sent it down a vacuum tube to the cash desk. Duly, we got the receipt and the 'ticket to ride'. Many years later, I saw the same thing.

Well Merkin me lad you have hit upon one big answer to the class(sic) UK problem here. Hit me with your writhum stick. 1 August 2009 at 07:10. Zola, can we say say that in post-modernist terms? Remember, Zola, that immaculate comes from a root that means no stain or blemish. Did Django blot his copybook? I think that Django without Stefan was the same as Stefan without Django. Thanks for post...

anticant's burrow: GOOD ADVICE FOR THE ELDERLY
http://anticant.blogspot.com/2009/05/good-advice-for-elderly.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. GOOD ADVICE FOR THE ELDERLY. Forwarded by a friend:. Do you realise that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about ageing that you think in fractions. How old are you? I'm four and a half! You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key . You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead. How old are you?

BloggersOnTheRun: No Comment is Free in the Guardian.
http://bloggersontherun.blogspot.com/2009/09/no-comment-is-free-in-guardian.html
Wednesday, 30 September 2009. No Comment is Free in the Guardian. 30 Sep 09, 3:19pm (about 8 hours ago). This comment has been removed by a moderator. Replies may also be deleted. I know of one film director who is - at this very moment - trying to exercise his 'Right to Return'.'. Once more into that Black Hole of Nothingness which is the Graun. Funnily enough, I had a girlfriend in Poland who was an actress. Nothing more to be said. Zionist control of the media? Sometimes, I wonder. Because the Guardia...

anticant's burrow: THE ARENA IS OPEN!
http://anticant.blogspot.com/2007/01/arena-is-open.html
Monday, 15 January 2007. THE ARENA IS OPEN! So I've decided to move the more serious stuff over to my new site - anticant's arena - which is now open [link on left-hand of title page]. I am moderating this to keep things on-track. Sorry if some of you think that is censorship - it isn't; no relevant opinions will be removed. As for the burrow, for which I have a strong affection - like Mole in The Wind in the Willows. I feel it's dulce domum. If you tell me I'm schizophrenic, it can't be helped. Having j...

Reason's Sword: March 2007
http://reasonssword.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2007. Relativism is not a monster. And the Barefoot Bum. There is a prevalent point of view which holds that morality should have some foundation in objective truth and fact. This idea seems to me entirely wrong-headed in that it mischaracterises the nature of moral belief. A scientific theory can be true but morality seems to depend on conventions, emotions and beliefs.
