Tuesday, February 12, 2008. Officially Moved, unofficially homeless. Well, our furniture has moved into our new house. Unfortunatley we haven't. We are crashing with the inlaws until we can paint the walls and polyurethane the floors. Hopefully we can kick it into high gear. There hasn't been any apparent progress in the past few days and it is hard on the morale. Hatim wanted to make sure we didn't forget to move the m'urses. Stuff in the living room. Stuff in Smurfland (3rd floor). Just Snap It In.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Niko and his dad laid the porcelain tile in the kitchen. It wasn't easy, they were dealing with what really used to be 3 different rooms, so getting it level was a challenge. However they met the challenge, and the floor is looking great. I sanded the doors down and on Sunday Andrea and Dahlia came and helped me clean the basement and put together cabinets. We installed the bases for the cabinets so they could be tiled. Dahlia and Andrea were great at assembling cabinets!

Monday, March 24, 2008. Yeah, we are living at our house! We still have a few things to finish up, but we are really close to done so we moved in and have now spent two nights at our new house. We should be getting our countertops this week sometime and then we can put the finishing touches on the kitchen. Kitchen is ready for counter. Bed 1- with clothes everywhere- unpacking. Bed 2- with clothes everywhere. Monday, March 10, 2008. Sorry, i didn't take any photos this weekend- too busy working away- but.

Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Ok, so we are 49 days in, I haven't had internet access for a bit so we have made some progress since the last post. The 2 bedrooms are finished, floors look great (thanks to Niko's dad), kitchen is getting there, we'll be done by this weekend with it. Now the stairway and first floor need painted and the floors polyurethaned. The appliances were delivered on Saturday. Cabinet installation is almost complete. I hope I have enough room. March 20, 2008 at 7:30 AM.

Monday, March 10, 2008. Sorry, i didn't take any photos this weekend- too busy working away- but. The second floor is done, we moved the furniture into the bedrooms. Monday, April 7, 2008. Kitchen is up and running! There is a bit of floor tile that needs fixed, a few tile bases,- but, other than that and the new window we plan to put at the back of the room at some point we are done!
