Sunday, November 30, 2008. All you needed to know about Sweden. This list was taken off a website(which was a little dated), but I thought it was amusing yet interesting to read about Sweden. Be careful. The next door in the uppgång (walk-up) is the backdoor of the last guy who is still not interested. Beer in pop machines. If you guzzle a glass of water on hot day, you are being rude and demanding more NOW! They have an island called "Island land" (Öland). No salad is complete without grated carrots.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. First Month in Sweden. They have small social events called Fika. Multiple times throughout the day. Is a social institution in Sweden. It means having a coffee. With one's colleagues, friends, date, or family. The word has quite ambiguous connotations and can mean anything from taking a break from work or other activities, to going on a date. Swedes are among the heaviest consumers of coffee in the world. Or sometimes a smörgås. On the side, is central to Swedish life ".
