Nothing is Infinite!: August 2009

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Why are we burning the planet? Atheist and Global Warming. One of the latest twitter post. Pointed to the Pope declaration: "Pope blames atheists for global warming.". Beside the hilarious ridicule of this proposition, it really confused me. I'm utterly convinced that it is actually the opposite. The belief that a single God, created the Universe and "ultimately" mankind, allows our society to use earth and its resources without restraints. Let's keep it simple. But, Ophir Radnitz.

Nothing is Infinite!: December 2008
http://nothingisinfinite.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Why natural selection did not kill the scientists? There are many scientific facts that are the base of modern thinking: The Earth is not at the center of the Universe, Human race is the result of evolution, The brain is the home of human psyche. But there is one that I personally love:. The human brain evolved because of social interaction. The best quote I found about this is in Human Evolution. So, another way to put it: Politicians need bigger brains than scientists! In te...

Wondering what to do with myself has never really gone away. Hence…? Leave a Comment ». Enter your comment here.

As a French, Israeli, Californian, and now that the conflict quiet down, here is how I explain the conflict using Memetics. This shows my position on the suffering of the Palestinians. The 2 reinforcing memes infecting the people of Gaza, and especially the Hamas, are:. All my problems are due to Israel. Israel can be destroyed. While there may be a small base for truth on the first one, the second meme is complete non sense.

Even More Grumbine Science! Thoughts on Life, the Universe and Everything. Beautiful Hubble shot of a starburst galaxy, M82. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Fun with Math Software. One of the things I occasionally enjoy doing in my spare time, odd though it may sound, is playing with math software to make it create cool visuals. I've had a couple of results I've been particularly happy with, so I thought I'd share them with the world. Both of these were done in Maple. Regardless, however, I do recommend pl...
