Midsummer Night Musings: Sweet as the Flower freebie
http://stitchingandscribbling.blogspot.com/2006/12/sweet-as-flower-freebie.html
Thursday, December 28, 2006. Sweet as the Flower freebie. Now that Christmas is over, I thought I'd post a freebie that would be great to give someone for Valentine's Day. I charted it for Gentle Arts threads. The red is Antique Rose, the green is Dried Thyme and the brown is Apple Cider. I charted it for Sand linen 32 count which makes it 3 x 3 1/2 inches. Enjoy! Thank you, Deborah! What a lovely design! Very sweet, thank you :). Just found this via Monique's blog - thank you! What a sweet design! This ...

A new chart is uploaded! A new chart is uploaded! On Saturday, 14 May 2011. Time to add a new chart! We hope you enjoy the simple but encouraging message of the monochrome chart titled, simply, "Persevere." The flower is from an antique pattern book and the one-word message is meant to encourage, no matter what the challenge. Watch for the upload of our model, as soon as the camera on my iPhone cooperates. Meanwhile, happy stitching! Find our products here. Attic NeedleWork and Collectibles.

Saturday, October 18, 2014. Biking From Boston to New York, Through Lots of People and Lots of History. Back in the 1960's, Jeff and a college roommate biked from Jeff's home in New York City to Boston in four days. Louise and Jeff followed a somewhat similar route, in reverse, and did it in. In his 20's, it was all about how. You could bike each day as you made your way to the destination. Now, it's how much can we. As we make our way through the interesting space between here and there. Not barrels of ...

http://stitchingandscribbling.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Today I received this wonderful piece in honor of my mother from my good friend, Janet. Janet and I have known each other at least 10 years and have been through quite a few trials and tribulations together and I appreciate her gift and thoughtfulness more than she realizes. Thanks again gf, I'm always here for you just like I know you are for me. Saturday, June 26, 2010. July/August 2010 Just Cross Stitch. I was happy to see I had two designs in the recent Just Cross Stitch issue.

Midsummer Night Musings: A Very Old Book with a Story
http://stitchingandscribbling.blogspot.com/2014/11/a-very-old-book-with-story.html
Thursday, November 06, 2014. A Very Old Book with a Story. Anyone here like thrift stores? Instead of doing much stitching the past five years, I added thrift stores to my hobby list. It helps to have friends who love them also. In Tucson, we are lucky to live near some retirement communities that feed into several thrift stores and that seems to be where I find the best items. They'd be even better taken with something other than my camera phone! First I saw a pressed flower, not unusual inside a book:.

Oh for some spare time to sit down with needle and thread! We're sure it will come, but meanwhile, we're tying up the ends of market orders so we can get much-anticipated products out to shops and on to stitchers.
