Andronicus dixit: noviembre 2010
http://andronicusdixit.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

http://andronicusdixit.blogspot.com/2009/12/el-ultimo-poema.html

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Following an idea. Following an idea Part dos. Rise and fall of the Roman epigraphical habit. 8221; if you will. I set up a little slide-show to illustrate this thread:. Notice, too, how orderly, composed, thought out and well crafted both of these above inscriptions are, in words and artwork. Then somewhere in the middle Empire you start to see a change, or maybe better to call it a new trend or clientele of this inscriptional habit. A Christian IN PACE and a po...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Let’s look (finally! At this beautiful stone. I took this photo in Merida, Spain, at the fantastic Roman museum there. If you like Roman ruins/history, you must go to Merida. You can even see a real Roman play in the original Roman theater. This site is sacred to the spirits of the underworld. Flavia Firmana, who lived 32 years, lies here. May the earth be light upon you, Flavia! Titus Flavius Amethystus (for his most chaste wife Flavia). Was she stern and no-nonsense?
