Double Under-bite Jaw Surgery. My blogs before, and after my under-bite surgery! Jaw Surgery Post Op- 1.5 months. August 29, 2013. March 11, 2016. 1 and a half months after surgery! I can finally start eating again! I officially got the OK to eat just about 5 weeks post op! Other than that, my numbness is very minimal right now, only around my lower left lip. Double Under-bite Jaw Surgery. My blogs before, and after my under-bite surgery! Jaw Surgery Post Op- 2.5 months. October 4, 2013. March 11, 2016. It is now approximately 2 and a half months sense my surgery. I have an even smaller amount of numbness, really don’t notice it anymore. I can obviously eat anything I want. I can open my mouth completely now. I think my swelling is practically gone. I still have my rubber bands but its not bad, and my braces will be off probably December!

Wake up in excruciating pain. My soreness was gone when I woke up in the morning! However, as I write this, I have become sore from the day’s activity – which makes me think that maybe soreness is just inevitable. Swelling is going down, finally.
