Monday, November 19, 2012. Event: 2012 Houston Townlake Triathlon. The weather was kinda sucky this weekend. It rained Friday and A LOT on Saturday. Therefore, the bike portion of the tri was CANCELLED. It was now deemed an ‘aquathlon’. Ugh. Seriously? But I think he was only trying to help me stay on course instead going too far left and right. Celebrated missus gilles big three-oh recently! It was such a nice and fun night with some of the classiest people i know. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. I can't believe all these babies in my life are growing so fast! It almost felt it was just yesterday that i was watching baby tyler as her mama tore into pound after pound of crabs. Speaking of shellfish, i'm currently swollen faced from it. Good thing i'm not vain. I came to work looking like i had been crying for three days straight. In these situations, i don't feel bad for myself. I just laugh at how ridiculous i look. Oy! Friday, March 15, 2013. Event: USA Fit Half Marathon. Congrats to big poppa for completing his very FIRST half-marathon! I'm so proud of him! I made this big picture thing of big poppa's face to use a cheering sign. People loved it! I was gonna surprise him with it at first but i was running out of time and it was just easier to let him see it. Of course then he was all being picky and complaining about the picture i chose. Monday, February 25, 2013. Musik Mundi: Lana Del Rey. Album: Born To Die (2012). You either like Lana Del Rey or you don't. Her singing style may take a little getting used to but i'm all for quirky voices. I watched Burlesque this weekend and although christina did an okay acting job (def better than britney in crossroads! Her voice just isn't for me. Cher's such a great actor!
