My ramblings during a 6 month trip with my wife through Asia. Tuesday, 20 July 2010. There's nothing particularly worth visiting in Siliguri despite it being quite a large city. It's primarily a transit point for visitors to and from neighboring countries (Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh) and also to and from India's north eastern states (Sikkim, Manipur etc). We managed to spend 5 nights there despite this and ironically, it's where we began to both see and fall in love with India for the first time.
