An Unexpected Valentine

Observations, musings and adventures of a new New Yorker who has fallen for the citys charms. Friday, October 21, 2011. My cousin T and I were curious, like much of the country, about the Occupy Wall Street movement. We headed down to Zuccotti Park last weekend and spent over an hour walking through the village that has been created. We both came away unexpectedly moved by what we witnessed. Persons of Note were there as well (Economist Jeffrey Sachs, known for his work to find solutions to poverty):.

Observations, musings and adventures of a new New Yorker who has fallen for the citys charms. Monday, February 14, 2011. A year ago I went on an expedition with my friend M, and found a most unexpected valentine. The sheer delight of the discovery prompted me to follow through with the suggestion of another friend to start a blog and capture my experiences in New York. Thus it's the 1st anniversary of the blog. Thanks to all who sit on my shoulder and explore the city with me! And Happy Valentine's Day!

Observations, musings and adventures of a new New Yorker who has fallen for the citys charms. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Peace in the midst of chaos: Yoga in Times Square. What could be better than welcoming the summer solstice with yoga? Yes, it sounded crazy to me too. I signed up as soon as the posters hit the streets:. There were people of all ages and abilities. Some were clearly better than others:. The end, and sheer bliss. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Great Idea | It Makes Total Sense

It Makes Total Sense. Many years ago I set down the criteria defining my “Ideal Business”. As you can see by the criteria (below), I set the bar very high indeed….in fact I set it so high that I was beginning to think that it may be impossible to achieve a business that satisfies all. Of the criteria below . We are very excited by what we have and now we can help others enjoy the benefits of creating their own. 8220;Ideal Business”. 1 CUSTOMER VALUE PROPOSITION. Rhythmical creation of beauty in words. My story with poems. Get to know me! Whilst you’re picking out the vegetables, or whilst you’re angry at the food served not being your cup of tea, others pick the left overs of food in the bin to suffice their need. Whilst you’re complaining about your studies being hard and the stress and pressure you’re under, others wish they could afford education. Whilst you’re being angry at your mother, others wish they had one. A whole lot more that you think you are. ...

An Unexpected Year

I had bought my books for my freshmen year at George Mason University, moved into a house with some good friends, and spent a couple hours on Google maps discerning the quickest way to get to and from school. To make a very long and complicated story short, I am not going to school this year. It seems as if God has other plans for me. What other plans? I wish I knew. My hope, is that this blog will help catalog what he does with me and through me this unexpected year. Thursday, August 21, 2014. The marke...
