A bit about us, maybe a dash more! Monday, January 11, 2010. For all of you who keep track, I have not blogged in a long time. Shie is the one who has been good at keeping everyone around the world up to date with the goings on here with the American Sjostrom family. My thoughts have not been completely blog idle. I have been taking pictures of things I have deemed blog worthy. So, here are some random pictures taken from the last 3 months. It took me exactly two hours to shovel my way out of the snow!

A bit about us, maybe a dash more! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Esther asks to listen to this song about 10 times a day. She sings and dances along. It's wonderful to see. I don't have a video of her singing and dancing to this yet, but I thought I'd share the song with you. Enjoy! Official music video from the artist plays in the USA only :(. A bit about us, maybe a dash more! Sunday, August 8, 2010. Our daughter is growing up so fast. She is learning so many new words both in Swedish and English every day. She is also turning out to be a caring big sister. More videos to come. Here is another cute picture of Esther. This one was taken when my brother and his family were here earlier this summer. Friday, August 6, 2010. Aug 5, 9.6 pounds (4.35 kgs), 21 inches (53.54 cms) and with lungs that can wake up the neighborhood :-). Mir and Sam's Blog.

Here are a few things we have been up to the last few weeks/months. 2 While Es and I were in Philly, my dear husband, back in Mpls, stripped the carpet upstairs and replaced it with wonderful, hardwood floors. Little Miss Independent! They had a fun little play area for kids at the Philly airport. Es with her cousin Jadon at the mall during our Philly trip enjoying a few rides. The dentist couldn't have had a more appropriate name! 3 guesses - 1. has really short arms, 2. wanted to give the car a Mohawk, 3. is laziness personified. On a different note: Es loves purses (purrsh, as she calls them) and sometimes insists on taking my old, empty purses when we go out! Thursday, February 11, 2010. All about the little one. Everyday Esther's speech becomes clearer and both J and I are nostalgic of the days when she was just learning to talk. The little mixed up pronunciations were always so much fun.
