A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Thursday, 9 January 2014. Possible Additions to my Space Wolves Army. Greetings, Aseldi here with a brief post with some additional content which didn't really fit in the last one. All in all though, I'm holding off adding much to my Space Wolves until the get their update, which judging by certain rumours, and the GW's current pattern, shouldn't be too long. 14 January 2014 at 04:23. 14 January 2014 at 11:57. I must confess...

http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-return-to-tournaments-and-1500pts-list.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Thursday, 9 January 2014. A Return to Tournaments (and a 1500pts List). Greetings, Aseldi here. Recently, my local GW hosted a small lock in tournament for the release of the Tyranid WD. Having not played a game since the Invasion tournament 6months back, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get back into things. Njal, Lord of the Tempests - 265pts. Rune Priest - 120pts. Grey Hunter Pack (10) - 220pts. As befor...

The Eastern Fringe: December 2013
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Friday, 6 December 2013. 6 Months Without Warhammer. The title says it all; and so it is, with a somber mood, I make this blogpost. Basically, I'm hoping to relay what my experience in relation to the hobby has been like having taken a step back for a number of months; what else have I wasted my time on, off not intense theory crafting for toy soldiers? So if you haven't played Dawn of War in a while, try it again! Still no ...

The Eastern Fringe: March 2013
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Monday, 25 March 2013. To Take, or Not to Take the Metal Box? Greetings all, Aseldi here to look over the changes brought upon general army composition brought by 6th edition. More specifically, whether to take a footslogging list, or transports? Firstly, I'll state that by transports, I mean 10 Grey Hunters in a Rhino. I've never been a fan off the MSU list, and I seem incapable of taking squads of fewer than 10 marines.

The Eastern Fringe: Land Raider Variants and Space Wolves
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2013/04/which-land-raider-variant-to-take-for.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Thursday, 4 April 2013. Land Raider Variants and Space Wolves. This is a topic which has been causing me no end of wonder recently. In my most recent article, the 1250pts Space Wolf list, you will see I opted for the Land Raider Redeemer eventually to deliver my Wolf Guard (maybe a bit Deathstar(ish) unit into the heat of battle! This leads me on to the final variant, the Land Raider Redeemer! 10pts less than the other 2, at...

The Eastern Fringe: A Temporary Departure
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-temporary-departure.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Friday, 2 August 2013. Hello all, Aseldi here! This is firstly an apology for the recent silence, holidays do kind of detract from these things, however odd that may seem. Also that a recent bout of MTG has taken the helm for the time being. I don't imagine I will be too long, but until then, enjoy the hobby! And keep fighting for the Allfather! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Search The Eastern Fringe. Lord of the Rings.

The Eastern Fringe: January 2014
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Wednesday, 15 January 2014. Today I played my first Kill Team ever with the new rules against my brother. We both found the game really fun, short and sweet. We used Lego for scenery, which worked worryingly well. There's plenty of scope for army choice, on this case I used:. Grey Hunter Pack (10) - 165pts. Mark of the Wulfen. Lone Wolf - 35pts. Mark of the Wulfen. Thursday, 9 January 2014. I've also been looking into adding...

The Eastern Fringe: May 2013
http://theeasternfringe.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
A Warhammer 40,000 blog centred around the Space Wolves and Chaos Space Marines. Thursday, 2 May 2013. Explanation for the silence. The comms have been silent the last couple of weeks, and we are deeply apologetic about this. This post is really just to say there won't be many posts for the next few weeks, as this is a very important time in our lives, and unfortunately hobbying has to get pushed to the side. After this is out the way, Gowen and I will be in full swing preparing for Conflict Scotland!
