well it's okay: BROOKLYN FOR A DAY
http://wellitsokay.blogspot.com/2014/07/brooklyn-for-day.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. BROOKLYN FOR A DAY. Last week I took a crazy thirty-hour trip to Brooklyn with my friend Kim. We took a bus Tuesday night at midnight, got into the city right before six in the morning, took the train to Brooklyn and started our day. Kim lived in Brooklyn for two years, so she took me to some really cool places - we did so. Much in one day. We really covered some ground. We rode Jane's Carousel. Ate dinner, then headed back to Manhattan to walk The High Line. I want to go! All pho...

well it's okay: DIY HANDPRINTED KITCHEN TOWELS
http://wellitsokay.blogspot.com/2012/03/diy-handprinted-kitchen-towels.html
Wednesday, March 7, 2012. DIY HANDPRINTED KITCHEN TOWELS. I used Jacquard screen printing ink and Martha Stewart craft paint*. First, tape some paper down to cover your workspace from the paint that bleeds through the towel. I put a strip of tape across my towel, to help me keep a straight line while printing. You don't have to print up to the line, but it helps keep things neat. This is not the quickest project, but it's really simple and actually relaxing.since you're repeating one step many times&...

well it's okay: PORTSMOUTH FLEA AND FARMERS MARKET
http://wellitsokay.blogspot.com/2014/07/portsmouth-flea-and-farmers-market.html
Tuesday, July 8, 2014. PORTSMOUTH FLEA AND FARMERS MARKET. I also stopped by the farmers market. It was really nice. The only think I got though was some handmade vanilla mint rose lip balm. Going to farmers markets makes me really excited for Douglas to get home so I can cook for him again. I really miss that. Has anyone been going to farmers markets so far this summer? There's a bigger one in Virginia Beach I want to get out to soon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget.

July 24, 2014 at 2:52 PM. So pretty, love the progression! July 25, 2014 at 3:47 PM. I love project shots! Its so fun to see the way my fellow makers brains work :). July 27, 2014 at 8:45 PM. I love seeing that, too. I hope I can remember to keep this up and take photos before I get down to work :).

well it's okay: RECENTLY THRIFTED: TOBACCO FACTORY BINS
http://wellitsokay.blogspot.com/2014/07/recently-thrifted-tobacco-factory-bins.html
Wednesday, July 9, 2014. RECENTLY THRIFTED: TOBACCO FACTORY BINS. These bins are the only thing I got at the P orstmouth Flea. Last weekend. The woman selling them told me they were old bins from a tobacco factory. The primary colors are what got me, but I also really love the metal detail on the edges. I don't know what I'm going to put in them yet, but I'm hoping I'll work them into my show display sometime. July 9, 2014 at 11:51 AM. I was eyeing those bins in the last post!
