flowersandstripes: December 2012
http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 December 2012. The month of December. Started with a visit to the where I used to live in London, in fact walking past the end of my old road, to visit a friend who is involved in an open studio there. It was a lovely chance to eat mince pies and more importantly catch up with her. A wonderful crisp walk across Blackheath and Greenwich park and knowing that now it's December we can really feel Christmassy. Eating too many delicious Ecchelfechan. Discovering that what I thought was a book shop ...

flowersandstripes: May 2013
http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 May 2013. The Month of May. May started with glorious blue skies, blossom appearing on the apple tree in our garden, green shoots appearing everywhere, wearing shoes without socks. Painted toe nails - one of the advantages of being 30 weeks pregnant is that I have to have a pedicure, there is no way I can reach my toes to paint them! A delightful christening of godchild number six and catching up with dear friends. Meeting up with a dear friend for lunch at Peter Jones. A very belated birthday...

flowersandstripes: glowed with flowers
http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2013/05/glowed-with-flowers.html
Tuesday, 28 May 2013. Our final Jane Eyre floral spring quote. That bright May shone unclouded over the bright hills and beautiful woodland out of doors. Its garden, too, glowed with flowers: hollyhocks had sprung up tall as trees, lilies had opened, tulips and roses were in bloom; the borders of the little beds were gay with pink thrift and crimson double daisies; the sweetbriars gave out, morning and evening, their scent of spice and apples;'. flowersandstripes: long mornings
http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2013/06/long-mornings.html
Wednesday, 5 June 2013. June came in with fields of white clover, and Catherine spent long mornings in the open, reading to Audrey whilst Adam slept and the sunny countryside slept too, mile after undistinguished mile, all about them. Swifts swung overhead, blue church spires pricked the distance, the scent of clover was solid on the windless air.'. Elizabeth Cambridge Hostages to Fortune. Wednesday, June 05, 2013. Wednesday, 05 June, 2013. Friday, 07 June, 2013. Ooh how lovely more stripes on the page.

http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 30 April 2013. The Month of April. A quiet day pottering around the house, wishing the weather was warmer so I could potter in the garden. I'm missing the garden. Meeting dear dear old work colleagues for lunch at Cote. Another lunch date with a dear friend this time at Cantina Vinopolis. A delicious mushroom gnocchi. Another day out of the house whilst the windows are being done. Meeting a dear friend, oldest godson and siblings at Chelsea Physic Garden. And Gemma at Liberty's Tea Room. At the ...

flowersandstripes: a dress so flowery
http://flowersandstripes.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-dress-so-flowery.html
Friday, 7 June 2013. A dress so flowery. Miss Marriot tying up the clematis and wearing a dress so flowery that many foiled bees buzzed angrily round her for a moment before going on to the less deceiving columbines.'. Mollie Panter-Downes It's the real thing this time in Good evening, Mrs Craven. I doubt I'll be wearing a dress like this. Friday, June 07, 2013. Saturday, 08 June, 2013. That dress is awesome, and the headscarf, necklace and bangles - you can wear jewellery! Sunday, 09 June, 2013. Lilac -...

A Hat Full of Wool: Blogs I love reading
http://ahatfullofwool.blogspot.com/p/blogs-i-love-reading.html
A Hat Full of Wool. Writing about crafting, photography and life. Oh, and keeping an eye on that pile of yarn in the corner that seems to be mysteriously growing over time. Blogs I love reading. Blogs I love reading. Instead of having blogs next to my posts, I thought I'd have a list here. These are my favourite blogs on all of the internet. Some of them make me laugh, some of them make me think. Others are practical and link to my hobbies. I enjoy them all. Written by an old housemate of mine, he gives ...

OboudaOffers: February 2013
http://www.oboudaoffers.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 February 2013. Tuesday is "hump" day here in Dubai so here's what has kept me smiling. . . It was 60s day at school so to get myself in the mood my driving soundtrack was the Cirque du Soliel Love. CD If you ever go to Las Vegas I highly recommend seeing it, even if like myself you're not Beatles crazy. Have you seen it, or do you have any other Cirque du Soleil. It's always uplifting singing along to a good song. What's your current driving soundtrack and what is your all time favourite?

OboudaOffers: #January Joy 2: My Skin Saviours
http://www.oboudaoffers.com/2014/01/january-joy-2-my-skin-saviours.html
Thursday, 2 January 2014. January Joy 2: My Skin Saviours. 1 Eve Lom Cleanser:. 2 Dermologica Daily Microfoliant. 3 Creme De La Mer Moisturising Cream. 4 Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. Today's prompt is "Get serious about skincare". But it made me feel good, I noticed a difference and it did improve my skin. I have long stopped worrying about acne and I rarely suffer from spots. These days, my concerns are ageing and sun damage. My pulse quickens every time I pay for a pot of Creme De La Mer...My pr...
