jumblejan: January 2008
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 31, 2008. I just LOVE PB&Js! Especially PB&SJ, S for Strawberry. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich, (PB&J) appears to have been invented by GIs during World War II. My favorite PB&J brand is Smucker's Goober PB&J. With its alternating striped PB&J. My mom told me that I grew up on this brand that's why I loved it so much. Smucker's Goober Strawberry PB&J - my kind of heaven! Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Tyrants, despots, the truly brutal criminals, genocide, always fascinate me, in a...

jumblejan: It Is What It Is...
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2011/08/it-is-what-it-is.html
Sunday, August 28, 2011. It Is What It Is. I admit, I am not contented with my life. I am one of those people who think that life is unfair and incomplete and that there is a lot owed me. But I also accept that it is what it is. It was what was dealt me. I may not like it but I do accept it and try to change everything for the better. That is why I am surprised that a friend who has what I believe a wonderful life so angry with her life. I too have anger issues, who doesn't? If life is not to one's own l...

jumblejan: November 2007
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2007. Here are other insights about my vacation. Sorry this took soooo long. I'm a bit busy. Their website: http:/ www.encenada.com/. Warning: Do not be fooled by the pictures posted on their website! I'll tell you why later on. Overall, the place was clean, maintained but not well enough, not even their dive equipment were kept well and in good shape, food was ok but not cheap, the staff were polite and the sand on the shore was swept daily. When we tried to enter the room on our se...

jumblejan: Pole Dancing in 2011
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2011/06/pole-dancing-in-2011.html
Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Pole Dancing in 2011. While growing up, one of my forms of entertainment was the television. During those times, movies in the afternoon were shown. If I wasn't doing my afternoon nap, I watched those movies, some of them were action movies wherein scenes were shot in seedy pubs and bars where ladies dance scantily clad and gyrating on a pole. Her description of pole dancing was so different from what I used to see on TV. I never knew pole dancing could be an art! Watching my fr...

jumblejan: Job Hunt 101
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2008/04/job-hunt-101.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2008. When you are job hunting, DO NOT FORGET the following:. 1 Resume - updated, recent, edited for grammar and spelling. 2 Picture - you may or may not need to submit it with the resume. 3 Be in an appropriate attire - no jeans, t-shirts, garish jewelries or trinkets that make sounds (believe me, tinkling jewelries/trinkets can only be amusing to hear for a VERY short time). 5 Wear clean shoes - a bit shiny, as long as dust is not visible. Sneakers/trainers are a no-no. 12 Crackers/b...

Saturday, August 25, 2007. I love Discovery Channel! At home, if I'm not watching cartoons, I'm watching programs on the Discovery Channel. Sometimes I also watch certain programs on the Animal Planet and National Geographic. My favorite program on the D Channel is MythBusters. MythBusters stars special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, who use basic elements of the scientific method to test the validity of various rumors and urban legends in popular culture. A person strapped into the rear ...

jumblejan: I Love PB&J!
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2011/10/i-love-pb.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. First published on FB, 12 October 2011:. I'm an only child and my mum's father and siblings were all in the US. As such, her father, brothers and sisters regularly send Balikbayan boxes filled with stateside goodies. Spoiling me and teaching me to know and love US products in the process. I remember spreading Blue Bonnet margarine on my sandwiches, and as the Blue Bonnet catchphrase goes, "Everything's better with Blue Bonnet on it." It always was true for me! I just loved it!

jumblejan: December 2007
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 7, 2007. Thursday, December 6, 2007. The woulds and what ifs. There was a boy in high school that I used to know, RC. He was also my closest male friend. He used to copy homework and exam answers from me. I also used to do his homework once in a while, and I have to make my handwriting resemble his before we pass it on to our teacher. What if I did not reject him, what if I stayed with him? Would I have married him? Would I be happy with him? Would we be happy together? A lot of woulds a...

jumblejan: Adventures in job hunting...2
http://jumble-jan.blogspot.com/2008/04/adventures-in-job-hunting2.html
Friday, April 4, 2008. Adventures in job hunting.2. So today, I went to a new company to apply for a job. So I returned to the lady-guard, registered my name, address and the position I was applying for. I was told to sit. I sat and watched old Friends episodes from the waiting area's big, flat-screen. The first four's interview was quick and they left the interview room. The rest of us, save the experienced agent entered the interview room. 1 What position we were applying for. Anyway, we were told we a...
