Hungry?: Couscous

http://www.anythingcooking.blogspot.com/2008/08/couscous.html

A place to gather. for food! Friday, August 15, 2008. Posted by dust and kam. Quick-cooking couscous is now even better since it's available in a whole wheat version. Fresh sage gives this side dish an earthy taste and aroma. You can use other fresh herbs such as basil, cilantro, or mint instead. To make this an entree, add a little feta cheese, water-packed tuna, or shredded cooked chicken. 1 3/4 cups fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth. 3/4 cup whole wheat couscous. 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved. Creamy...

musings in food: Fresh Parsley

http://musingsinfood.blogspot.com/2009/02/fresh-parsley.html

Friday, February 6, 2009. I also do this w/ onions and red, green and yellow pepers because sometimes it's nice to have the work done plus there's times when peppers are so very expensive. I typically keep them for about 2 - 3 months after which it is all gone and time to cut more. Here's how I cut parsley. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Other blogs by me and you! musings in food: January 2009

http://musingsinfood.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 6, 2009. My sister has recently been given a large box full of my paternal Grandmother's recipes. Trust me when I tell you that just hearing about those darn things makes my mouth water to the point where I want to drool! I can still taste Grandma's rolls and pies. They are/were amazing! Anyway the going will be slow as my sister has to transcribe them after work and well, Grandma wrote everything in pencil! Don't write recipes out in pencil! Links to this post. musings in food: August 2008

http://musingsinfood.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 28, 2008. Simple, simple, simple. Once you've made these you'll never want to eat anything else! Well, okay, you will but these are delicious and you can choose to make them wimpy. So that everyone can eat them. Take 2 cups of bisquick and add 4 cups of grated cheese (I used sharp cheddar because that's what I had) plus 1 lb of cooked sausage. The above shows what it looks like once you stir it up. This is just the dry ingredients. Take a pepper and cut the top off. Just my personal ...

Friday, October 31, 2008. Kitty Litter box cake! So what is this gross monstrosity you might ask? Well it's actually a cake. A pretty good cake to be honest. Notice the "poopies"? Anything Cool (In My Opinion)

Anything Cool (In My Opinion). Sunday, June 16, 2013. Man of Steel had many good runs, but never the homerun. So, last night I went to see Man of Steel. While never been a fan of the character, I've been intrigued by the movie, especially by the let down that is Superman Returns. After seeing the trailer. I admit my expectation soared. It was great, and give me hope that this new interpretation of Superman was going to give me the kind of boost that the Batman franchise got with Batman Begins. Superman i...
