With the help of my friend and adviser, Tom, we came up with a little plan to cover the brief span of about 1600 to 1900. So, with a self-made course reader (a few thousand pages) I photocopied out of my Norton Anthologies, I set out to brush up on just about everything in preparation for grad school.
