Custer Park and Black Hills. Got close and personal with some bison. Sunset somewhere in a valley in Custer State Park. The babbling creek behind my camp, the Horse Camp. I followed the creek down a game trail to come to this pretty view. In the Black Hills, I found this wonderful sight. This hill was massively steep, and I had my big highway gear on. This makes for a tired bike that needs frequent naps. Fall Down Go Boom. Somewhere in the Black Hills right off 385, I rounded the corner and saw this sight.

My first glimpse of the Rockies. I could have watched this for hours, but time was pressing me forward. When my odo hit 22,222. This was where I was at. Bliss. I made a wrong turn in South Dakota, which made my arrival a bit later than expected. From a few miles out though, the view was amazing. Some rock climbers are the little white dot coming down Devils Tower. While talking and drinking beer with some German climbers, I scooted off a few times to eventually capture this shot. A 30 minute exposure illuminated by just the moon. I ONLY HOLD 5 GALLONS! Then I realized the fuel cut off had failed. Maps They get abused. Amazing view from the base of a radio tower.

Coastal Dreams, California. My first encounter with the Pacific ocean was immensely beatiful. I had to stand in the water for a few minutes and bask in another life goal completed.
