Thursday, August 13, 2015. Vacation Prep on Full Speed. I am trying to get as much work done as I can before, I leave for my vacation. I still have 10 days to go but, that's not a whole lot of time. 1 Made my packing list. 2 Got all the medicines I will take with me. 3 Found the American plugs for my chargers. 4 Wrote an e-mail to my friends in the U.S. and to my sis regarding my itinerary so that, they will know my whereabouts since, I will be doing a lot of driving and staying at hotels. Sunday, December 21, 2014. May 2015 bring you health, happiness and joy! It's been a month since I wrote last time. I have been very busy and have lost my mojo. Financially, things look good. I think I will exceed my overall financial goal a little despite the unexpected money I had to give away. Next year my not be so good due to reasons I do not want to disclose here. Not yet anyway. Asked how I was doing and I figured perhaps it was time for an update. Not as well when it comes to making sure everything gets put away. My couch quite often has a small pile of stuff on it. Thursday, July 23, 2015. I'm happy with this decision but I still struggle a bit with it. I know I could probably achieve better than a 3.375% return but we are saving aggressively. For the most part, I do disagree with putting all extra money toward a mortgage because of the math behind it. But I do not want a mortgage in retirement so I'm going ahead with it. Saturday, July 11, 2015. I bought just the necessary groceries yesterday. Milk, bananas, watermelon, pickles and tortillas were purchased for $17. Our garden is starting to produce veggies and our raspberry patch is doing beautifully. I never add pictures so I hope this works. These raspberries were planted this year that we got from a friend and they are going gangbusters. We eat raspberries everyday. Lil Punk says she has strep throat so I guess we are off to the clinic.
