Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Did I reach the age that new blinds would excite me? I've been extremely hesitant to post pictures of the house because we have been anxiously awaiting getting new faux wood blinds in our bedroom and living room/breakfast area. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Wow am I behind on blogging! Chris and I have both been stuck in the "bounceback" period at work. Pretty much it's the couple weeks after Christmas where we have to pull everything back together and get ready for our new fiscal year in February! Last week Chris and I spent part of our day off and met one of our friends from work and his girlfriend in Galveston at the Moody Garden's Festival of Lights, then went to dinner at a local italian restaurant near our house. Monday, July 11, 2011. A whole lotta new. So in the last 2 1/2 months that we've been married, there's been a lot of newness. Besides the obvious of being married, living together, getting back into the groove of everyday life.we have bought a new car. Meet Pearl - our new Toyota Venza. And a new motorcycle. Monday, March 12, 2012. Chris and I had the opportunity to go to the rodeo 3 times this year! It's become one of my favorite times of the year since moving to Houston. We got to see Lady Antebellum, Reba, and Chris Young. And of course.ate some fried foods along the way. Thomas came in town! And we had fried oreos and cookie dough. Yes, please! Sunday, July 31, 2011. Weekend Trip to Dallas. On our way to Dallas, Chris and I stopped at Sam's Restaurant in Fairfield, Texas. Chris's Mawmaw and Pawpaw used to live on a farm in Fairfield and he spent a lot of his childhood going to visit them out in the country!
