Όλα μέλι λάδι στη Μάνη. Τετάρτη, 30 Απριλίου 2014. Ο "Προκόπης" πάει βόλτα. Πηγαίνοντας στην Καρδαμύλη (έδρα του δήμου Δυτ. Μάνης) για κάποιες δουλειές, αντίκρισα μια ωραία εικόνα. Δυο χαριτωμένες κοπέλες έβγαζαν βόλτα με λουράκι ένα τετράποδο.Όλα καλά μέχρι εδώ. Το ιδιαίτερο στην εικόνα είναι ότι το τετράποδο ήταν ένας συμπαθέστατος γαιδαράκος, ο Προκόπης. Από ότι έμαθα, ο Προκόπης δεν ήταν δικός τους, αλλά τους άρεσε να τον βγάζουν βόλτα, με πολύ προσοχή και προσήλωση μάλιστα. Δευτέρα, 28 Απριλίου 2014.

Προσπαθούμε να βρούμε καλό ψάρι, όσο γίνεται πιο φρέσκο, εδώ δεν γίνεται πιο φρέσκο, μόλις βγήκε από τη βάρκα, ήρθε.σπίτι. Όλα μέλι λάδι στη Μάνη. Δευτέρα, 24 Αυγούστου 2015. Παρακολουθώντας μια.σφηκοφωλιά στο παράθυρο. Ένα απόγευμα, τυχαία έπεσε η ματιά μου στο επάνω εξωτερικό σημείο ενός παραθυριού στο σπίτι.Ψηλά επάνω στο οριζόντιο πέτρινο αγκωνάρι του παραθυριού, είχα .παρέα. Ήταν φτιαγμένη έξω από τη σήτα του παραθύρου, άρα δεν θα δημιουργούσε άμεσο πρόβλημα και προφανώς για αυτό το λόγο δεν ήταν επικίνδυνη και για τους ανθρώπους του σπιτιού. Στην τελευταία εκδρομή μας στο βουνό είχαμε πατήσει χιόνι, στην επόμενη επίσκεψη που κάναμε δεν βρήκαμε φυσικά χιόνι, αλλά δεν περάσαμε και άσχημα. Εδώ και αρκετές μέρες βρέχει συνέχεια, οι προβλέψεις λένε ότι ο καιρός θα συνεχιστεί έτσι και την επόμενη εβδομάδα,οι μέλισσες μένουν εγκλωβισμένες μέσα στις κυψέλες τους επειδή δεν μπορούν να πετάξουν για συλλογή τροφής.
