A Not So Private Journal Of My Journey. Category Archives: Simply Finances. August 29, 2014. Today I rang up my health fund provider as our premium was just too damn high. By cutting out pregnancy options (no more babies for us! Hip replacements (way too young), gastric banding (we are blessedly not overweight and won’t be) and putting in an excess for hospital visits (savings will cover this if required) I managed to shave off $30 a fortnight. That’s $780 a year. Not bad. Posted in Simply Finances.
