Papaw came by for a bit and we had lunch together. We are so lucky that our family all lives so close and we can visit all the time! Noah's first time on a swingset! Kate wanted to push him :). He thought the whole thing was just hilarious! Elle is standing all by herself! Such a big girl! Reese can do it, too! Back at home, showing his true colors!

The Havens Family: October 2010
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Hoo Hoo Hoo.HOOSIERS! At 6 weeks old, Noah attended his first IU football game (and I'm sure he will attend many more in the years to come)! We had an absolute blast taking our little guy to Bloomington and seeing our old stomping grounds! It was definitely a different way to experience campus with a Baby Bjorn carrier strapped to my chest! We even ventured down to Kirkwood after the game and had dinner with some friends and bought a few sweatshirts for ourselves :). We had a...

The Havens Family: August 2012
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 4, 2012. Get comfortable. Here goes. Nervous and excited to welcome another son into our family! Our healthy baby boy was born on July 22nd, 2012 at 7:32 pm! After only 20 minutes of pushing (following 48 hours of labor - however most of this time was spent unsuccessfully trying to stop. Labor), Dylan made his grand entrance with the sweetest noise a parent has ever heard: CRYING! And crying, and crying, and crying. "Clear those lungs, sweet boy! Was all that Ben and I could think about!

The Havens Family: December 2011
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. He's Not Fat, He's Proportional! Our little dude weighed in at a whopping 26 POUNDS! That puts him in the 70th percentile for weight, and at 32.5 inches long he is in the 90th percentile for height! Not exactly long and lean, but definitely long :) He definitely doesn't get his height from his momma! Life is good as we get ready for Christmas! He also has been trying to whistle. I don't know where he learned it, but he thinks it's pretty fantastic. Well, we did! Noah likes the ...

The Havens Family: It's a Great Day to Have a Baby!
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2012/07/its-great-day-to-have-baby.html
Sunday, July 22, 2012. It's a Great Day to Have a Baby! Dylan Thomas Havens is well on his way to making us a family of four today! At 35 weeks gestation, we wouldn't have chosen Sunday, July 22nd to meet our little man, but God continues to show us that sometimes we have to let him take the reigns and trust that he will keep our little man safe and healthy! Well that was/is me! Third attempt: A whopping dose of morphine and phenergan. Big Fail (see a pattern here)? By 6:00 or so, the decision was made t...

The Havens Family: Monday CAN be a fun day!
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2012/05/monday-can-be-fun-day.html
Monday, May 7, 2012. Monday CAN be a fun day! So I've been a good mommy the last couple of days, and I have broken out the REAL camera a few times! I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! Today was a fabulous Monday. I wish that there could be more fabulous Mondays, but usually Monday means a return to the work week and 5 whole days of Noah at the babysitter's and me downtown! They play so well together :). Despite the fact that he never cracks a smile, he is obsessed with the water table! Noah and I went...

The Havens Family: May 2012
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 13, 2012. He has this amazing way of reminding me about the important things in life. I am so lucky to be called his mother! My Mother's Day gift from my boys. Way cuter than a boring leather one :) I have been wanting one of these for work, so I may or may not have sent Ben an email with the link for where to purchase this, but all that matters is that he got it for me, right? This sweet poem was sent to me by my Aunt Mary Ann (Mickey) last year, on my first Mother's day as a mom! Having my ...

Sunday, August 8, 2010. Our Baby Keeps Growing! Until then, there is no sense in worrying about it! We took a few more photos this week since we are getting closer to the end of this journey! Now we just need a little baby boy to put in the crib :). My three boys and me :). Sunday, August 1, 2010. So looking back at the pictures we have taken, we haven't done the best job of "documenting" how quickly our little boy grew.Let's look backwards at the few photos we took! 31 weeks - at my work shower :).

Thursday, September 16, 2010. Yes folks - that's 10 pounds 5 ounces! Noah had is first pediatrician's appointment on Tuesday, and he has gained an average of 3 ounces per day! The expectation is 1 ounce per day, so it turns out he is a very good eater! Enjoy some photos of our fun with friends! Sweet as can be :). Katelyn Kenney came to play again! Katelyn with her Momma! Scott and Nicole were nice enough to bring us a yummy Mexican dinner! I love how Oliver is holding Vivian's hand! That's it for today!

The Havens Family: A Sigh of Relief!
http://ourlittlehavens.blogspot.com/2012/05/sigh-of-relief.html
Thursday, May 10, 2012. A Sigh of Relief! I am so relieved that I can finally say that we are expecting a healthy baby boy this August! On the inside, I was in constant turmoil. The thought of losing this baby that we wanted so badly was almost unbearable. My rational mind knew everything would be just fine, but that didn't stop me from worrying and making completely morbid and nurse-like comments to my family and friends. :). We officially named our baby boy last night! He loves babies, though, and he h...
