Thursday, February 25, 2010. When I was at the store this weekend I picked up some Kielbasa. I LOVE Kielbasa (thanks to my Polish roots) and I can eat it hot, cold, room temp, plain, with cheese on crackers, etc. BUT my favorite way to eat it is with sauerkraut. Those some sliced kielbasa and sauerkraut in a pan, let it heat up and I am a happy camper! 1 Green Pepper (julienned - sliced skinny and lengthwise). 1 Red Pepper (julienned). Pasta (penne is preferred, but use any kind). Easy Fudge Pudding Cake.

http://apescancook.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. So I haven't had too much time to cook/bake/use a microwave lately (mostly because of my bday weekend extravaganza, but a lot because of my working schedule). So my girl/fellow blogger Ashley gave me a recipe book for my bday. THAT'S FIVE HUNDRED DIFFERENT KINDS OF CUPCAKES (and muffins). I cannot WAIT to try the recipes out! I was looking at them last night, and I pretty much want to try ALL of them (except the beet one! Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Water gets an upgrade. Just wan...

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Chicken and Veggies (with Eggplant). So I decided to try out the eggplant we got at our veggie pickup this week. I marinated some chicken in Mrs. Dash marinade (pretty much the best stuff around! And let Mr. George Foreman do my grilling. While Mr. Foreman was busy doing the "man work" I got to work with my veggies and saute pan. The eggplant didn't really taste like anything, it fit with the rest of the vegetables, so it worked out great! Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Yes, like this.

http://apescancook.blogspot.com/2010/07/pepper-mint-limeade.html
Friday, July 2, 2010. With a long weekend approaching, I decided to look up some new recipes. I came across a pepper-mint limeade recipe I when I saw "Limeade" all I could think of was the Doumar's limeades from back home (757 bias! FYI - Doumar's is home of the ORIGINAL, hand rolled waffle cone. So, I decided what better way to live up a long weekend than with LIMEADES! Here's the recipe, followed by how I burned my eyes in the process. 4 limes, juiced. 1 cup white sugar. 2 sprigs fresh mint. Gross, I k...
