http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Something New Every Day. Saturday, January 13, 2007. I saw a picture similar to this somewhere in the internet and, since I have some of these in my backyard, decided to give it a try. I like the angle of this picture, but it doesn't do any justice to how tall those trees really are. Manual ISO-200 ss 1/100 sec. f/6.3 50 mm lens. Friday, January 12, 2007. Manual ISO-1600 SS 112 secs. f/9 5omm lens on tripod. Manual ISO-200 SS 1/125 sec. f/1.4 50 mm lens. Manual ISO-100 SS 1/100 sec. f/4 50 mm lens. Today...

This was taken out my baby girl's bedroom window. Lookong at it now, I wish I had cropped it differently, but oh well. Manual ISO-100 SS 1/100 sec. f/4 50 mm lens. Wow, I really like that first one! Something New Every Day: Such a Pretty Face
http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007/01/such-pretty-face.html
Something New Every Day. Tuesday, January 9, 2007. Such a Pretty Face. It's only the 9th of January and I'm already having a hard time wondering what to take pictures of. My baby girl is always on the run and it's nearly impossible to stop her, let alone get eye contact. I think that's why I loved this one so much. It's not technically great but having her look at me is such a challenge, I'll take anything I get. Manual ISO-400 SS 1/100 sec. f/2.5. Same settings, different PPing. Me and My Baby Girl.

http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007/01/challenge-sure-ill-take-it.html
Something New Every Day. Monday, January 8, 2007. Sure, I'll take it! I, as you can read if you look to your left, am a photographer wannabe. So I took the challenge. I'm supposed to take a picture everyday of 2007 and post it here. Why? Well, first of all, It's great practice. Second, I can look back at the end of the year and (hopefully) see how much I've improved. and third, my camera never leaves my side, so. why not? January 7th.Sweet dreams, my child. January 6th. Something New Every Day: The Pond, Again
http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007/01/pond-again.html
Something New Every Day. Monday, January 8, 2007. The Pond, Again. I went back to the pond from the January 6th picture. There's this spot that I had really liked that day, but people were using it to fish, so I shot in a different angle. I went back today and the place was completely deserted. I couldn't pick one, so I'm posting two! First one is my husband, he's pushing a stroller but can't really tell. Second one is just the pond. Manual ISO-100 SS 1/200 sec. f/9 focal length 125 mm. Such a Pretty Face.

Something New Every Day: Bad Day for Pictures
http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007/01/bad-day-for-pictures.html
Something New Every Day. Thursday, January 11, 2007. Bad Day for Pictures. Today I woke up and my internet was down. OH, NO! I spent a lot of time wondering what to take pictures of. I tried to take pictures of my baby. she was more than unwilling today, so needless to say. those pictures were horrible. I looked around. day light is going away and I still haven't taken a picture. So I snapped a shot from my backyard. Not even close to good, but my picture for today. January 11, 2007 at 8:53 PM.

Something New Every Day: Fallen Heroes
http://yamila-andrea.blogspot.com/2007/01/fallen-heroes.html
Something New Every Day. Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Today I went to a memorial to soldiers of the 3rd ID who have lost their lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom. On this post, they get a tree planted with their name on it, and people come leave them little items in remembrance. If you ask me, there are way too many trees. First one, I think there's 2 1/2 sidewalks with trees. this is half of one. Manual ISO-100 SS 1/50 sec. f/22 50mm lens on tripod. Second one. I kind of liked the DOF on this one.

It shouldn't be this cold at this time in the morning, here in LA county. At least I think so. Maybe I never noticed it before if it happened in the past. We are having some freaky weather! I like this one. Great texture! January 19, 2007 at 6:20 PM. Very interesting, great texture. January 19, 2007 at 8:59 PM.

I hope you are ok! January 19, 2007 at 7:34 AM. Thanks, I'm fine, just forgetful, I wish they made memory pills!
