Six months ago today, we walked into a conference room in the Lakeside Hotel in Fuzhou, China. We thought we'd be waiting 30 minutes for our little girl to come. WRONG! I was given two options, March 6th travel if TA had come today and March 13th, if TA should come in on 2/26. Last night at 5:28 pm, my agency sent the e-mail that travel approvals did not arrive, however, March 13th travel is still a possibility and the new possible date is March 20th. The phone rang; caller ID came up as Delavan Christian School. It was the Principal Mr. Haan, "Is Luke there? Me: "Um.I'm pretty sure he's at school, isn't he? Mr Haan: "No, it's pretty dark here. I need to talk to him". Me: "I will let him know when he gets home" - click. Luke: Avery was killed in a car accident.
