So last night, recognizing that we weren't getting the best of this blog written in time for grading, I chastened myself to put myself in Jamie's shoes: what was going on with you that was preventing you from keeping up? Maybe you're overwhelmed with work. Maybe a personal relationship is too challenging. Maybe you're entirely exhausted at the end of every day. I can empathize with all of that. But we have to finish.
