Wednesday, July 31, 2013. The rest of July was a weird month. I had knee surgery, so that really put a damper on our fun activities. We still managed to get into a little mischief! Complete with matching outfits. I take no responsibility for this. They did it all on their own. Colt made sure he wore his "orange shorts like Wade". Somewhere in all the rain, we managed a few lake days! They even chipped in with some house cleaning when I was really desperate! Movie day with Reed and Jack! Or so we think...

Friday, May 31, 2013. A little bit of May madness! I hosted my book club at our house for Cutting For Stone. It was a very intellectual read, like something I would've been assigned in AP English (and would have just found the Cliff's Notes for.). I appreciated it, but it was a beast to get through. Note to self.from now on I need to read the book before picking it for my book club ladies to read! There was a lot of Indian influence in the book, so I made an Indian feast! Wade and Om at a park playdate.

Monday, March 31, 2014. A little March fun. Bree and Lauren playing at High Meadows. 11 great years of celebrating. Same crown each year. Love you sweet girl! Little notes left by Wade. Saturday, August 31, 2013. After a low key July, it felt like August was a whirlwind! As soon as school started, Wade become obsessed with writing and really wanted a writing desk in his room. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Swim Team - The Jacksons Creek Jaws! Wade is finally old enough for swim team! We don't have a neighborhood swim team of our own, so we were lucky enough to swim with Wyatt and the Jackson Creek Jaws. There is no better example to follow than Wyatt. He is truly the caring team player, took Wade under his wing, and helped him ease into the swim team world. Introductions at the first practice. Their first relay, they got second place. The sisters were on hand to cheer the brothers on!

Monday, September 30, 2013. With school and activities in full swing, we have fun and busy days. Here's a little window into what's going on. I was at Casa for a meeting and walked through the courtyard. I was surprised by Wade painting in the sunshine. In a beret. THIS makes my heart happy. I love that this is how he can spend his morning. Wade and Bree REALLY love sleeping together. It's turned into a regular thing in his room or her room. Look at their Synchronized Sleeping!
